> 15, 836 people living with HIV/AIDS in San Francisco have access to 432 beds of HOPWA funded housing. Note the lack of housing in the Castro - the area of highest need.

 

 

> The majority of speculator evictions targeting gay men with HIV/AIDS in the Castro. More of us were evicted in 5 years than HOPWA beds were created in 25 years, leading San Francisco to have the lowest rate of people with HIV/AIDS having permanent stable housing in the Nation, just 9.1% according to HUD.
